Install via Outlook Web — works on all M365 enterprise accounts, no admin rights needed
⚠️ If the Windows installer didn't work — your organisation is likely running Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, which requires this method instead.

Open Outlook WebGo to outlook.cloud.microsoft or outlook.office.com and sign in

Open Add AppsClick the Apps icon (grid/puzzle piece) in the toolbar, or click ... More options → Add apps

Add Custom Add-inSearch for PhishGuard — if not listed, look for Upload a custom app or Add a custom add-in → Add from URL

Enter the manifest URLPaste this URL and click Install:

After installing, restart Outlook desktop — PhishGuard will appear in your ribbon and start scanning automatically. The OWA install also activates PhishGuard in Outlook desktop and mobile connected to the same account.

Restart OutlookThe installer closes Outlook automatically. Reopen it to activate PhishGuard.

Find PhishGuard in the ribbonOpen any email — look for the PhishGuard button in the Outlook toolbar at the top.

PhishGuard scans automaticallyEvery email you open is scanned in real time. A warning banner appears if something looks suspicious.
