Microsoft's deployment pipeline can take 24–72 hours for the add-in to appear in the "Built for your org" section. This is a Microsoft platform process outside our control.

Not showing after 48 hours? Try:
• Outlook Desktop: File → Office Account → Update Options → Update Now, then restart Outlook
• Outlook Web: Log out and back in, then hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R)
• Outlook Mobile: Force-close and reopen the app (can take the full 72 hours)
• Still not showing: Remove and re-add the add-in in admin.microsoft.com

PhishGuard uses usage-based billing. At the end of your 30-day free trial, we count how many users PhishGuard actively protected (users who opened at least one email while PhishGuard was active).

We then email you a personalised billing link showing your exact user count and monthly cost. One click to subscribe via PayPal. No credit card needed during the trial.

When your trial expires you enter a 7-day grace period — PhishGuard continues working normally. During this time you'll receive reminder emails with your billing link.

After 7 days without payment, your account is frozen and scanning stops. Your account is unfrozen automatically the moment a payment is received.

Some emails with HTML attachments or embedded content trigger Microsoft Outlook's content security lockdown (SES lockdown), which prevents the notification banner API from firing. This is a Microsoft platform limitation that affects all Outlook add-ins, not specific to PhishGuard.

PhishGuard still scans the email and shows the full results in the taskpane — click the PhishGuard button in the ribbon to see the scan results. The ribbon button label also changes to "⚠ Possible Phish!" when a threat is detected.

Enterprise ($19.99/user/month) adds deep threat intelligence on top of the core detection:

• VirusTotal — scans all links against 70+ antivirus engines
• Google Safe Browsing — checks links against Google's threat database
• WHOIS domain age — flags newly registered domains (common in phishing)
• Encrypted phishing kit detection — catches HTML attachments with XOR-encrypted payloads
• Admin portal — org-wide threat dashboard, per-user activity, flagged senders
• Weekly threat digest — email summary of threats caught across your org
• Custom sensitivity threshold — tune how aggressively PhishGuard flags emails

Enterprise is recommended for organisations with 100+ users or any team that handles sensitive financial, legal, or healthcare data.

PhishGuard supports Outlook on iOS and Android via admin deployment through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. After admin deployment, the add-in appears in Outlook mobile — though it can take up to 72 hours.

The individual installer (PhishGuardSetup.exe / .pkg) is for desktop only. Mobile users must be covered by an admin deployment.

Yes — cancel anytime through PayPal or by emailing hello@phishguardd.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No annual contracts, no cancellation fees.

Enterprise customers receive an admin key by email when their trial starts. Use it to log in at:

PhishGuard currently supports Microsoft Outlook (via Microsoft 365 add-in) and Google Gmail (via Google Workspace add-on). Yahoo Mail, AOL, Zoho, and other providers do not support the add-in framework required for PhishGuard to function.
